Don’t Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a cocktail every now and then, keep your money at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your money belt, and leave all money, charge cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever cash you intend to spend on alcohol, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to burn and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Not really. Just realistic. You might experience a success after a inebriated night out with your compatriots and be blessed sufficiently to hook a marathon toss at a hot craps table. Keep that story seeing that it is as brief as it gets if you continually drink alcohol and wager. The pair just don’t go well together.

Keeping your money at home is a little drastic, but preventative measures for excessive actions is a requirement. If you gamble to profit, then do not consume alcohol and gamble. If you are able to afford to burn your cash nary a concern, then consume all the complimentary alcohol your stomach are able to handle, but do not pack credit cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after squanderings after your drunk as a skunk self throws away all the cash!

Permit me to carry this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then hop on the net to gamble in your favorite casino either. I love to beer from the coziness of my home, but seeing that I’m hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards in close proximity, I can not consume alcohol and gamble.

How come? Even though I do not drink alcohol to excess, once I drink, it’s clearly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I gamble, so I don’t drink alcohol when wagering. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. Both create a dangerous, and costly, cocktail.
