There is an interesting history to the Cambodia gambling halls that lie just across the border from neighboring Thailand, where gambling hall gambling is against the law. Eight gambling dens are based in a relatively small location in the municipality of Poipet in Cambodia. The newest Holiday Palace Casino and Resort highlights 300 slots and 70 tables and the Princess Hotel and Casino, also in Poipet, has 166 one armed bandits and ninety six gaming tables, including eighty seven baccarat (the most dominant game), Fan Tan, and Pai Gow. Also, there is the Casino Tropicana, with 135 slot machines and 66 of the normal gaming tables, as well as one table of Casino Stud Poker. Another one of the 8 gambling dens in Poipet, also in a motel, is the Princess Casino with one hundred and sixty six slot machine games and ninety seven casino games. The Star Vegas Casino is part of an international resort and hotel building that contains many comforts in addition to the gambling den, which offers ten thousand sq.ft. of 130 slots and eighty eight table games.
